Location: Pretoria

Salary: R20 000 – R23 000 p.m

 

Responsibilities:

 

Hardware and Software Support 

           ·          Install and Implement new servers, Linux and Windows

           ·          Fully configuration of the following services

o   DNS

o   IIS, Apache

o   Pop3 – Imail, Exchange

o   Active directory

o   MS SQL, MySQL

o   VM Ware

 

Wireless Support

           ·          Apply firewall rules on existing routers

           ·          Creating new bridged connections

           ·          Implementing QOS on all WIFI routers

 

Networking 

           ·          Setup basic routing on Cisco routers

           ·          Trouble shoot Cisco switch ports

           ·          Implementing new IP ranges and making sure the routing is working

           ·          Configure internet firewalls on Cisco and Linux 

 

Requirements:

           ·          Matric

           ·          Must be able to work unsupervised

           ·          Must be able to work under pressure

           ·          Team player

           ·          Must be from IT background but no specific industry
