Location: Durban, South Africa
Our client in the financial industry is looking for an Administrator / Coordinator.
Specific Responsibilities
- Logistics Coordination
- Schedule transport for collections & deliveries
- Maintain and update inventory records and location of goods
- Other related logistics & administration duties as assigned
- Office Administration
- Assist with reception / PA function (answer incoming calls, schedule appointments)
- Administration of office consumables and facilities maintenance
- Internal Sales
- Follow up on routine sales with existing customers / suppliers
- Convert new enquires into sales of standard products
General Responsibilities
- Protect and promote the business and interests of the company, to preserve its reputation and goodwill
- A can-do attitude and willingness to bring positive energy to any situation
- Other duties and responsibilities may need to be performed from time to time during employment with the company, based on its operational requirements. A job title does not define or restrict duties and responsibilities, and other work may be required, within one’s abilities at the request of the company
- After-hours work as and when required
Requirements
- Relevant experience in business administration and logistics
- Highly computer literate
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Tertiary qualification in supply chain management or business administration (advantageous)
