Administrator / Coordinator

Location: Durban, South Africa

 

Our client in the financial industry is looking for an Administrator / Coordinator.

 

 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Logistics Coordination
  • Schedule transport for collections & deliveries
  • Maintain and update inventory records and location of goods
  • Other related logistics & administration duties as assigned

 

  • Office Administration
  • Assist with reception / PA function (answer incoming calls, schedule appointments)
  • Administration of office consumables and facilities maintenance

 

  • Internal Sales
  • Follow up on routine sales with existing customers / suppliers
  • Convert new enquires into sales of standard products

 

General Responsibilities

  • Protect and promote the business and interests of the company, to preserve its reputation and goodwill
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to bring positive energy to any situation
  • Other duties and responsibilities may need to be performed from time to time during employment with the company, based on its operational requirements. A job title does not define or restrict duties and responsibilities, and other work may be required, within one’s abilities at the request of the company
  • After-hours work as and when required

 

Requirements           

                               

  • Relevant experience in business administration and logistics
  • Highly computer literate
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Tertiary qualification in supply chain management or business administration (advantageous)
