Project Engineer (Civil) & Project Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Description:

A leading fertilizer business seeking experienced Project Engineers, consisting of one Civil Engineer and one Mechanical Engineer. The ideal candidates must have completed the full cycle of a project and preferably be registered candidates at the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). 

Responsibilities:

·         Coordinate and manage all aspects of assigned projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to

·         Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical expertise for project planning and execution

·         Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success

·         Perform detailed engineering calculations, design layouts, and prepare technical reports

·         Supervise construction activities, ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained

·         Provide technical support to the maintenance team for ongoing project support

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

·         5-6 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the fertilizer or related industry

·         Full cycle project experience, from planning to execution to completion

·         Registered candidate at ECSA is preferred

·         Strong technical skills and knowledge of engineering principles

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·         Must Have experience in the water purification sector
