AV Sales Representative

Our client in the Telecommunications industry is looking for an AV Sales Representative.

Key responsibilities 

·        Sales Planning & Execution

o   Develop and maintain a tactical sales plan including, Sales Pipeline for Small and Medium sized Enterprises across Private & Public sector

o   Conduct customer needs analysis and review of existing services/ providers to formulate a Customer Value Proposition

o   Development of customer specific proposals in collaboration with the Company’s Solution Architects

o   Implement tactical sales plan across target markets through Go-To-Market of the Company’s Telco Division’s and Unified Comms Division’s products and services

o   Update sales reports and sell out data

o   Responsible for a sales targets set by Management

o   Maintain existing and new sales certification requirements by suppliers.

·        Revenue & Margin Generation

o   Maintain and grow and retain the current Company client base for voice, data and unified communications

o   Responsible for the development of “new” business and strategic accounts

o   Drive sales of the Company’s UC & Telco Division’s products and services specifically LAN deployment, VoIP and UC

o   Ensure achievement of revenue and gross margin targets as set by Management.



·        Minimum 5 year’s proven experience with VoIP, Networks and UC Selling. 

·        Must have technical knowledge and background, as well as sales experience

·        Must have proven experience in AV sales within government sector and/or corporate sector

·        VC knowledge/experience bonus.

·        Senior Certificate (essential)

·        Must be presentable – candidate will have to meet with CEO’s, CIO’s and CFO’s of current and prospective clients

·        Communication skills (read, write and speak) very important

·        Must be a “hunter” – able to source new business

·        Continuous skill improvement and self-development

·        Adhere to company processes

·        Microsoft Office Suite

·        Strong interpersonal skills (with customers, suppliers and team members)

·        Perform well under pressure
