Job Title: E&I Clerk of Works / Project Manager
Location: Pretoria 

Job Overview:
To manage full-time onsite Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) EPCM projects, fulfilling the role of Package Engineer and ensuring all E&I project activities meet company standards, quality, and compliance requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
•Manage all E&I spects of projects executed by the Projects Department.
•Act as Package Engineer for onsite and office-based EPCM projects.
•Prepare Scope of Work (SOW) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for RFQs and enquiries.
•Evaluate and adjudicate tenders; recommend suitable contractors.
•Verify that all E&I designs comply with SANS standards
•Company standards and specifications
•Design criteria, document numbering systems, and tag naming conventions
•Facilitate design reviews with company engineers.
•Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality control, and quality assurance throughout the full project lifecycle:
•Design
•Procurement
•Implementation
•Punching
•Testing & commissioning assistance
•Red-lining of IFC drawings
•Ensure proper application of company testing and commissioning procedures.
•Work as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
•Ensure strong integration of E&I details with civil, process, and mechanical designs.

Technical Competence:
Strong command of company standards, specifications, design criteria, and commissioning procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:
•Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
•B.Tech / B.Eng (NQF Level 7) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
•Formal Project Management training beneficial
•Minimum of 10 years’ industrial (operational) experience in a mining or plant environment
•At least 6 years in a Project Management capacity
