Job Title: Business Development Officer
Location: Cape Town

Job Summary:
A well-established, asset-based finance provider in the transport, mining, and construction industry is seeking a highly motivated and presentable Business Development Officer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business through developing relationships with clients, retaining existing ones, and promoting our financial products and services

Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and execute a business development plan to achieve sales targets and revenue goals
•Identify potential clients and establish relationships with them to understand their financial needs
•Promote financial products and services to potential clients and provide tailored solutions
•Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and development
•Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
•Provide exceptional customer service to maintain relationships with existing clients
•Collaborate with other departments to ensure clients receive a seamless experience

Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field
•Experience in the commercial finance industry is beneficial
•Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills with client relationship ability
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Strong Microsoft Excel skills
